Dr. Patrick McLaughlin was raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1991 after completing his pre-chiropractic requirements at Mars Hill College. After associateships in Mount Prospect, Illinois and Mint Hill, North Carolina, he opened McLaughlin Chiropractic Center in Morehead City in 1996. He has authored a chiropractic handbook and his audiocassette; “Chiropractic Impact” is used nationwide to educate others on the benefits of chiropractic care. Dr. McLaughlin has helped establish chiropractic clinics in Beaufort, Cedar Point, Havelock, and Gastonia, North Carolina between 1999 and 2000. In August of 2015, he re-purchased the Cedar Point location and now operates two practices in Cedar Point and Morehead City. He is an active member of the North Carolina Chiropractic Association. Dr. McLaughlin lives in Morehead City, with his wife Maria, their two daughters, Payton and Parker, and two sons, Sean and Ethan.

Dr. John Flynn holds a B.S. in Biology from Missouri Valley College and furthered his education at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, MO, earning his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree. He is also a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) from New York Chiropractic College and a Level 2 Medical Professional (TPI) from the Titleist Performance Institute.

With over 40 years of dedicated practice in Raleigh at Flynn Chiropractic & Sports Rehab, Dr. Flynn has held leadership positions as the Past President of the North Carolina Chiropractic Association and the Crabtree Rotary Club in Raleigh. His commitment to excellence has earned him several accolades, including being named Mr. Viking while at Missouri Valley College and Doctor of the Year by the North Carolina Chiropractic Association. An avid runner, he has completed 11 marathons, qualifying for both the NYC and Boston marathons twice.

In his free time, Dr. Flynn enjoys staying active through workouts, golfing, and spending quality time on the boat with his family. His journey into chiropractic began after sustaining an injury while playing football in college; a transformative experience with a local chiropractor not only led to his quick recovery but also inspired a pivotal career change from veterinary medicine to chiropractic care. This decision has been a blessing, allowing him to witness the profound positive results that chiropractic care can offer to others. Dr. John Flynn grew up on Long Island, NY, where he married his high school sweetheart. Together, they have two children and three grandchildren.
